Wrexham Christmas Market

Wrexham Christmas Market & Winter Festival 2022 was held over the weekend of the 10th & 11th of December in Queen’s Square in the heart of Wrexham’s City Centre.

It featured a marquee packed with Artisan businesses from all over the UK, Christmas-themed wooden chalets with more local small businesses trading from them, and an array of producers and street food around the site. The event being family-focused, we brought vintage rides and fairground stalls for the children to enjoy.

There was a music stage, which ran all day and featured local artists and bands, with Klaus & the If-Tones headlining on Saturday night, community choirs and solo artists throughout the day, such as the Delta Ladies Choir along with our local performing arts school, Delta Academy who performed segments from their upcoming pantomime Beauty and the Beast.

The event featured giant Christmas Props, including our all-new ‘Candy Cane Lane’ and Collection of nutcrackers. The event was light throughout the night with substantial light towers, up lighters and festoon throughout the site, making the event look magical as night fell.

People came in the thousands over the weekend to enjoy all that was on offer, grab those last-minute gifts, and Spend some quality time with the family whilst listening to the music and grabbing a bite to eat!

There was a great choice from local producers to a cheeky cocktail or mulled wine.

After the success of the 2022 event, we will be back again in 2023 with another instalment of the Wrexham Christmas Market and Winter Festival in the City Centre.
